Private AIData protection

Why private AI beats a chatbot subscription

If your regulator would not let you email a customer file to a stranger, you should not be sending it to an AI vendor either.

There is a version of AI adoption that looks like progress and is actually exposure.

An organisation signs up for a hosted assistant, pastes in policies, contracts and member records, and gets useful answers back. The demo goes well. Nobody asks where the data went.

For a bank, a SACCO, a hospital or a government agency, that question is the whole thing. Data-protection obligations do not pause because the tool is convenient.

A private deployment answers it differently. The model runs on infrastructure you control. The records never leave your perimeter. You own the logs and the shutdown switch. And because it is grounded on your own material rather than the internet, it knows your organisation instead of guessing at it.

The trade is real: you carry infrastructure. What you get back is a system your board can approve.
